Furrie Privacy Policy

Pet-care information on your device
Furrie is a private pet-care journal published by Little Ermine LLC. It does not require an account, show ads, or offer a social feed. Pet profiles, care records, medications, appointments, reminders, spending entries, notes, settings, photos, and documents are stored in the app's private database and files on your device. Little Ermine does not receive this content through the app or provide an app-controlled cloud sync service.
Imported image files may retain embedded metadata, including location data, even though Furrie does not request location permission or upload those files. If you choose to save an album photo to Photos, that copy may retain the metadata and may sync according to your device's photo-library settings.
You can choose which records to include in a care-packet PDF and open the device share sheet. Furrie does not upload the PDF or choose its recipient. Information you deliberately share is handled by the destination you choose.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Furrie Plus uses Apple's In-App Purchase system and RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage access to paid features. RevenueCat's SDK generates an anonymous customer identifier and processes purchase history, store receipt or transaction information, entitlement status, and basic device and platform information. RevenueCat also uses purchase history for subscription analytics. Apple processes billing under its own policies.
Furrie does not give RevenueCat your name, email, a custom user ID, advertising ID, pet profiles, care records, notes, contacts, spending entries, photos, documents, or care-packet PDFs. The App Store disclosure lists Purchase History as collected for App Functionality and Analytics, not linked to your identity by Furrie, and not used for tracking. Furrie has no separate advertising, care-data analytics, or remote crash-reporting service.
We use RevenueCat as a service provider for purchase information and require it to protect and process that information consistently with this policy and our service agreement. RevenueCat describes its safeguards and processor role in its privacy information.
Retention, deletion, and backups
Pet-care information remains on your device until you delete it in Furrie or remove the app. The confirmed Delete all local data action removes Furrie's local records, app-owned media, and local reminders. Little Ermine cannot recover a publisher-side copy because the app does not upload this content. Copies saved to Photos or shared elsewhere must be managed in those destinations.
Apple-managed device backups may contain an earlier copy of app-private data, depending on your settings. Furrie does not create, inspect, guarantee, or restore those backups. Deleting local data does not erase an earlier device backup, and simply reinstalling Furrie is not a supported recovery method.
Deleting local data does not cancel Furrie Plus or erase purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat. You can cancel a renewing subscription in your App Store account and use Restore Purchases with the same store account. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records under their service and legal obligations. Contact us if you want help requesting access to or deletion of a RevenueCat purchase record; we may need information that lets us locate its anonymous customer record. Apple handles App Store billing-record requests separately.
Optional device permissions
Furrie asks for camera or photo-library access when you choose to add media, and notification access when you enable local reminders. You can decline or revoke these permissions in iOS Settings. Furrie does not request access to your device contacts, precise location, microphone, Health data, or tracking permission for the current release.
Children
Furrie is for a general audience and does not ask users to create an account or provide their age. It does not use advertising or tracking to target children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when Furrie or its data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
